Great Barrington – The Berkshire International Film Festival (BIFF) continues its’ monthly free-screenings, April 1 at 11:00 at the Triplex Cinema with the films, Charging The Rhino and Sweet Soil.
Charging The Rhino is a deeply personal, psychologically layered and stylistically innovative film which tells the story of a family, a place and a time, flashing between a modern day pilgrimage and the history of what happened in that place sixty years ago.
Local filmmakers Laura Meister and Erica Spizz share a passion for fresh, local food. Sweet Soil shares the stories of four family farms, a natural foods store committed to supporting them, and a community’s passion for fresh, local food. Sweet Soil will follow immediately after Charging The Rhino as part of the monthly free BIFF screening. Meister will be in attendance.
This will be the final of the monthly screenings which will resume in September 2007. The Berkshire International Film Festival will be held May 17-20 at the Triplex Cinema Plus, the historic Mahaiwe Theatre, and Mixed Company.
